I do love Ashley Greene, and I love her on set of her new movie “The Apparition” wearing J Brand‘s 926 seven-eighths cropped jeans xx

This month’s style-file features tones in muddy pinks, greys, creams and heavy black. Throw this RaRe stripe knit over a brushed cotton American Vintage tee, a pair of pitch J Brand leggings, a Crumpet Leopard Stole and a piece of chunky CC Skye jewellery. The soft silk ruffles with textured knits add depth to this warm winter look.

Another disheartening moment…

Since the launch of fifiluxe.com in early 2008, I have fast learnt many lessons on the downfalls of owning an online business. As a new online boutique open to the big, world-wide-web and accessed by virtually anyone (who knew that people in Sarawak or Lampung, Indonesia loved Rock & Republic jeans so much?) I was aggressively targeted with people using stolen credit cards. Goods were shipped to strange countries never to be seen again and the funds simply reversed once reported stolen a month later. Hard lesson in fraud leant.

After combating this awful start, I began to gain confidence again with my new street-smart attitude (and a fool-proof fraud pack from the CBA) when just last week, I learnt of another unbelievable rip-off. Someone (if you can call them a person) hacked into my system, activated the paypal payment option and had Paypal payments from fifiluxe diverted to their account for the last month. I am blown away at the thought of how these criminals sleep at night…serious bad karma coming their way!! It seems that in cyberspace, anything goes and you feel a little vulnerable at times…I have however learnt, that people like to pay with Paypal, (in addition to Visa, Mastercard and American Express) so we have linked up our own account and is now safe to use…..guaranteed xx
