Browsing the Odd Molly website, I read a lovely story of the Spain and Andorra agent, Chris, who has the wonderful job of visiting the stores located in the Mediterranean Sea. The opening of the US flagship Odd Molly store on Robertson Boulevard, Beverly Hills was a huge success this month. Heidi Klum and an abundance of Hollywood celebrities attended including Malin Akerman, Mena Suvari, Lake Bell, Catt Sadler, Lydia Hearst, Lily Collins, Tara Subkoff, Izabella Miko, Danny Houston, (a very skinny) Kelly Osbourne, Mini Anden and all the Swedish Hollywood Wives (a popular reality show in Sweden). The evening was hosted by none other than Helena Christensen for Odd Molly co-founders and designers Per Holknekt, Karin Jimfelt-Ghatan, Christina Tillman and Christer Andersson.

“It is a lovely brand that really lives up to the love - courage - integrity brand values. It is by all means an honour to work with Odd Molly”. Helena Christensen says after signing with Odd Molly for her third season. This includes the upcoming campaigns for Spring/Summer 10 collections, the August 1st World Premier runway show in Stockholm and a yet to be revealed design project for Spring/Summer 10. Also signed for the upcoming campaigns and shows is Jonas Hallberg. I must say that Helena Christensen is made for Odd Molly…her natural beauty shines through whenever photographed in Odd Molly’s blissful knits and cool detailed cottons.

Could Helena Christensen look any more beautiful against this blue-glass ocean? The Odd Molly Summer ‘09 Ad Campaign is husky, hazy, heavenly. Femininity personified, I want to be on a beach right now…in a pastel pink girly dress, wrapped up in a lush silk scarf, with tassled beach hair perfection.
