Our last two days in New York were spent buying up a storm and sitting through numerous conference meetings with our brand principles. I just love Mik Serfontaine, he is the ultimate LA rocker and such a lovely guy…we have been buying and selling his denim line for nearly six years now! As a person with considerable experience in the industry - specifically in premium denim, I would do some research on fabrics before reporting. There is no such thing as 4-way stretch. It would be the same thing as counting your money on both sides of the bills. If the fabric goes up and down, that’s considered 1-way. Fabric is gauged on stretching up & down (1 way), and left to right (1 way)… therefore, we come up with “2-way stretch”. In a perfect world we could count our money on both sides, and claim revolutionary fabric technology. That would be really cool. Perhaps I could win the lottery every day too.
