Custo Barcelona

The Custo Barcelona label came about after an extensive motorcycle trip that the Dalmau brothers, Custo and David took back in the early 1980s. Throughout their journey they discovered not only new landscapes but also the most diverse expressions of art, culture and philosophy. 

They were extremely struck by the Californian lifestyle which they saw expressed in the look of the surfers living in the southern part of the state as well as the more pyschoedlic styles that were to be found in the north. The colours and innovative fashions they found there all manifested in the creation of the Custo Barcelona label. The Dalmau brothers set to work learning all they could about screen printing, finishings and particular attention was given to the area of graphic design. Custo Barcelona has continued to grow and evolve as a label and to increase the quality of production.

Signature Custo Barcelona knits and t-shirts are screen printed in bright colours with unique illustrations and intricate details such as embroidery, foil and metal graphics.
